My Son And Dad

Today my dad took my son hunting..YES I MADE IT!!
I love animals, but my dad is a huge hunter..when I went to pick up my son all geared up it was a bitter sweet feeling to see the look on my dads face. He told me they walked about 6 rugged miles total, over boulders..holding on to trees to get up hills, it was really nice to see my father so happy...as I was leaving he said "he is my little hunting buddy"
Today was open season for squirrel, although they did not shoot one my son told me he had the best time, sitting and eating and drinking out of his thermos.
On the ride home, Nicky said to me "mom what am I going to do when papa dies?" OH what a hard question to answer...I saw my 14year old daughters eyes swell with tears, although she did not see me look at her. I wish I had a good answer for him, I don't, as I said in my other posts I can only wish everybody had a father like mine. So back to what I said I told him this is just a little travel tru time here on earth, and heaven is so beautiful and where everyone goes, where everything is perfect and always remember the good memories and take them with you, nobody can ever take your memories away.

My Parents

My parents are both up in age, my dad is 74 soon to be 75 on December 28, My mom 70. They had my in the ladder 30's..I sometimes dwell on loosing them which I know is inevitable. My dad still starts my car in the dead of winter for me, you name it he will do it. He is truly my best friend, I went threw a divorce and no matter what he listened, he still does..I just feel so blessed to have such wonderful parents. Although I do think sometimes my dad thinks I am 16 still. (i wish)
He is taking my 11 year old son hunting this month, it will be my sons first time in the woods, so I insist on going, call me crazy but I worry, my dad seems to be a bit insulted, but I cant sit for 10 hours with knots in my stomach, so I will gear up and go. This should be a sight to see, my dad said "DONNA NO CELL PHONE!" I thought that was funny. I have to get on with my day today.

I am so new to this, so please excuse the mistakes. I am trying to keep this as a diary of my life. I need to try to get the stress away, the stress I bring on myself. My clients few who I confide in tell me I can write a book. I have 2 children, 3 step children. We just built our home in June, wow it is alot of work, I suppose if I liked clutter It would be OK, although I insist on a spotless home. Downfall?? YES I think so, I need to take time and just sit and relax.....
Yesterday I had a super full day of work from 830am until 9pm, which is no biggie, but I had 20min of a break so I decide to go to the nearest supermarket to get a bagel. My shop is located on a very busy highway, well low and behold my car ran out of gas, pouring rain, I run across the highway buy a gas container, go to the gas station which was thankfully right across the street and get 2.77 of gas, and put in in, well that left my schedule behind...clients just sitting on chairs, laughing which helped me laugh, because if that was the worst thing that happened then its OK.
